Experience The  Difference

The Rainforest....

Let Us Spoil You In Unspoilt Wilderness

Come with us on a unique journey off the beaten track and enjoy special access to one of the world's last remaining subtropical rainforests.  Experience nature at its awesome and majestic best in the CONONDALE NATIONAL PARK; over 34,000 hectares of subtropical rainforest wilderness within the mountainous Conondale Range.  Situated 100 km north west of Brisbane, in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, the Park is an hours scenic drive from coastal beach resorts and an area of unparalleled natural beauty; magnificent scenery, towering forests, mountain cascades, waterfalls and spectacular gorges.

Relax for a day in the peace and tranquillity of this unique environment, away from tedious crowds and busy schedules.  We'll transport you in luxury to the oxygen factory of the Sunshine Coast; to places where no one else can take you; to see wonders that no one else can show you!  Millions of plants, of many varieties some pre-dating the age of dinosaurs - form the basis of a living, breathing wilderness; a mosaic of insects, mammals and reptiles.

With a rich diversity of rainforest types and a number of rare plant and animal species, CONONDALE NATIONAL PARK is an environmentally sensitive area of national significance.   You'll wonder at the size of giant strangler figs and huge staghorns where even casual observation will reveal dainty orchids and all manner of ferns and fungi.  See waterfalls, rockpools and ancient vines intertwined throughout the trees.

You truly are in mother nature's garden - a pristine paradise that few know exists and most are never lucky enough to experience.

The Conondale Range is home to over a quarter of Queensland's wildlife species, some unique to the area.  Its is also considered one of the premium bird watching areas in Queensland. Over 200 species of birds - many rare and endangered - inhabit the forests.

Our eco-accredited guide will explain the secrets and unique nature of the eco-systems within this pristine environment and surprise and entertain you as he interprets the cultural history of the area.  Sample some native bush food if you're the adventurous type.
